What are your hours?

Do I need a physician’s referral to make an appointment?

You may be seen in the state of South Carolina without a physician’s referral. However, some insurance plans require one. Check with your insurance company for carrier-specific instructions prior to your first visit..

Do you accept my insurance?

We accept most major insurance plans including Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Medicare, MedCost, Tricare, SC Medicaid for Children, and Workers’ Compensation. Call before your first visit so we can verify your coverage.

What if I don’t have insurance-or don’t want to use mine?

We offer a self-pay plan if you don’t have or don’t wish to use insurance. Check with us about our Private Pay Program and we’ll set up a payment schedule for you.

What do I need for my first visit?

Arrive 15 minutes early to fill out paperwork. Wear comfortable clothing. Bring along these items:

  •         referral from your physician (if you have one or need one for insurance)
  •         insurance card(s)
  •         list of medications
  •         photo ID
  •         workmen’s compensation claim information or auto claim information

Q. What happens at my first visit?

Expect to be here for 90 minutes. The therapist will review your medical history, take measurements, develop your individualized treatment plan, and start your treatment.

How often will I come?

Your therapist will develop an individualized treatment plan specific to your needs. Your treatment plan and frequency and duration of therapy will vary accordingly. Typically, a patient is seen twice a week.

Do you provide services in addition to physical therapy?

We have a community exercise program for individuals with chronic illness, chronic pain, pain, and disability. We offer community use of AlterG. Call our offices for more information.
